We were the first ones at the Blarney Castle grounds. It was pouring rain. This is the place where you climb the Castle steps to kiss the Blarney Stone. You have to lie on your back and kiss the Stone upwards. They take your picture and for €10 you can purchase your photo. The Castle was way cool and the surrounding 60 acres of gardens were very beautiful especially in the rain. The grass was an amazing hue of green. In the photos the green grass doesn’t look real but it is that color green. In the afternoon we visited a sheep farmer in Killarney and learned about sheep farming we watched the sheep dogs do their herding of the sheep.
