Lake Henshaw, CA. On my way to visiting friends in Borrego Springs I was stopped by a road closure. I spent the night at a campground in Lake Henshaw and awoke to fresh snow. I took my trusty Canon Rebel with me on an early morning walk around the Lake. Two hours later I realized I had lost track of time while photographing the scenery. I was in my happy place and then I realized I was cold and wet. I had an epiphany that maybe I should pursue this happy place more often and resolved to take my photography more seriously because it had taken me to this happy place. This is one of the many dreamy photos I captured that day.
